Express Employment is excited to announce a direct hire opportunity for a 2nd Shift Industrial/Electrical Maintenance Technician in Toledo, OH. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the reliability and performance of industrial equipment by conducting installations, repairs, and maintenance tasks. This position requires a strong background in electrical systems and industrial maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repairs on industrial equipment and electrical systems
• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical and mechanical issues effectively
• Conduct preventative maintenance programs to minimize equipment downtime
• Assist in the installation of new equipment and machinery
• Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities
• Collaborate with plant management to implement improvements and upgrades
• Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred
• 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience, with a focus on electrical systems
• Strong troubleshooting skills with electrical and mechanical systems
• Familiarity with PLCs and other automated systems is a plus
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints
• Knowledge of relevant electrical codes and safety regulations
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Must be open to working 2nd shift hours
