Overview
As an Associate Technical Director, you will provide technical leadership and oversight to our CRM development and web development teams. You will collaborate closely with senior leads from all departments, including program management, client services, and technology, to ensure the planning and delivery of robust and sound technical solutions across client MarTech stacks. This role requires a balance of technical expertise, strategic insight, and leadership capabilities to ensure high-quality outputs that align with organizational objectives.
You will lead and mentor a diverse team, driving excellence in campaign execution, web development practices, and MarTech enablement.
Responsibilities
Provide technical leadership, oversight, and mentorship to CRM developers, campaign managers, and web development teams.
Oversee and optimizeMarTech and web solution technical enablement.
Collaborate with project stakeholders to define technical requirements and translate business needs into actionable technical solutions.
Perform detailed assessments of MarTechsolutions and client environments, document findings, and provide recommendations.
Develop and enforce standards for full-stack web development, ensuring the delivery of high-quality web projects.
Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical challenges quickly to minimize impact on system availability and project timelines.
Uphold best practices for data security and compliance.
Prepare technical documentation and process guides to facilitate knowledge transfer across internal and client teams.
Stay current with emerging MarTechtrends, technologies, and best practices to proactively guide strategic technology decisions.
TECHNICAL REQUIRMENTS
Proven experience with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Adobe Campaign/Marketo, Braze).
Solid understanding of MarTechecosystems and architecture, data flows, platform integrations, and best practices.
Well-versed in full-stack web development, with experience developing websites using Next.js and WordPress, and a strong proficiency working with APIs, cloud services, packages, and plugins.
Experience managing and mentoring technical teams in a collaborative environment.
Familiarity with data privacy and consent regulations(e.g., PIPEDA, CASL, GDPR, CCPA) and relevant compliance standards (e.g., WCAG).
Strong business analysis skills, capable of deriving actionable insights and translating business requirements into technical solutions.
Effective communication skills to convey complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
Qualifications
University or college degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Web Development, or equivalent experience.
Minimum 5-7 years of experience in CRM and web development roles, with at least 3 years in a leadership or management capacity.
