Responsibilities

• Material Tracking: Follow up on incoming PO's to ensure on-time delivery.

• Vendor Communications: Address potential or actual late orders with vendors, obtain recovery dates, and escalate issues to the Purchasing Manager.

• Internal Communications: Notify Purchasing and Production Managers of late orders.

• Production Schedule: Update with material delivery info.

• Vendor Late Orders: Update late Vendor PO report.

• Material Handling: Unload and route materials to appropriate locations.

• Packing Slip: Verify packing slip matches PO and received materials.

• Receiving: Log raw materials into ERP system (lot number, expiration date).

• Material Inspection: Ensure materials meet quality and order requirements.

• Certification: Verify materials against cert and ROHS compliance; check shelf-life.

• Tagging: Print and tag materials with ‘green' if acceptable or ‘red' if not.

• Red Tag Material: Notify Purchasing Manager of discrepant or damaged materials; report quantity mismatches.

• Quarantine: Store red tag/suspect material in designated area.

• Stock Checks: Conduct periodic checks as directed by Purchasing/Production Manager.

• Finished Goods: Validate and update FG inventories in the system.

• Customer Supplied Materials: Receive and update system with CSM inventories.

• Rolling Inventories: Perform rolling inventories as directed.

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a smoke free environment

• wearing steel toe shoes

• working in a non-temperature controlled environment

• manual lifting up to 49lbs

• working up to 1 hrs of overtime per week
