Essential DutiesClinical duties (may include, but not limited to):* Timely follow through and completion of referral requests* Screen for Fall Risk according to policy and apply fall prevention interventions when appropriate* Room and prepare patients according to clinic specific checklists or procedures * Completes required patient care documentation including Medical Histories* Cleans and disinfects examination and procedural rooms * Disinfects patient care equipment * Measures patient weight, height, oxygen saturation, respiration, temperature, pulse (manual and automatic), blood pressure (manual and automatic)* Performs 12 lead ECGs* Administers medication (aerosolized, oral, SC and IM) including oxygen * Performs subcutaneous (SC), intramuscular (IM) and intradermal injections * Collects and prepares lab specimens* Preforms basic laboratory tests including blood draws* Removes sutures and assists with dressing changes* Instructing patients via standardized pathways and protocols * Assists teammates and providers when necessary* Assists with day-to-day operations as required for optimal patient care* Attend staff development programs* Other duties as required by specialty

Administrative duties (may include, but not limited to):* Answer phones* Greet patients* Document and update pertinent medical record requirements* Code and complete healthcare insurance forms* Schedule appointments* Arrange for hospital admissions, referrals, and laboratory services* Use computer applications as necessary

Work Environment and Physical RequirementsMust be able to meet the physical demands of the position such as bending, stretching, kneeling, twisting, lifting, patient transfer, pushing, and pulling, etc. Must be able to lift 30 pounds.

Reports ToReports to the Coordinator and/or Manager/Practice Administrator of Ambulatory Physician Practices.
