Job Summary The Internal Communications Specialist will bring a passion for writing and storytelling and manage the day-to-day execution of the corporate writing initiatives as directed. This specialist will lead communication campaigns from start to finish and provide strategic counsel and tactical support to advance our priorities and cultural initiatives. The ability to build strong stakeholder relationships, write clear and engaging teammate communications, and develop strategic communications plans is a must. The right candidate will want to grow within the organization, be self-motivated, and driven to succeed. This specialist will play a hands-on role in the design and execution of a results-oriented internal communications program that informs, engages, inspires, and connects teammates to the Company brand, mission, and values through their work. Responsibilities will include creative writing/editing, project management, reporting, and serving as strategic business partner for select business lines that fall within the responsibility of Corporate Communications.

Job Responsibilities: Support a myriad of teammate focused content development initiatives to include writing, editing, proof reading, and producing a variety of internal communications to be used across channels such as emails, intranet copy, talking points, PowerPoint presentations, training materials, brochures, and other teammate focused communications. Must be a creative writer and passionate storyteller. Serve as business partner to assigned business lines such as HR, Corporate Sustainability, Retail and Commercial Banking to support ongoing communications needs. Serve as trusted advisor to business leads providing guidance on strategy, execution, and writing to support ongoing communication needs. Build and maintain templates within the Company's email management and design platform (Contact Monkey) and send communications to target internal audiences based on Internal Communications' timeline. Communicate open/read/click rates with appropriate internal stakeholders as needed and support online reporting needs. Be proactive in ideating to bringing new creative internal communications ideas and initiatives forward to enhance teammate communications.

ADDITIONAL ACCOUNTABILITIES Performs special projects, and additional duties and responsibilities as required. Consistently adheres to regulatory and compliance policies and standards linked to the job as listed and complete required compliance trainings. Accountable to maintain compliance with applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations.

JOB REQUIREMENTS Required Qualifications: Education level required: Undergraduate Degree (4 years or equivalent) in Communications, Marketing, Writing, Journalism, or related. Minimum experience required: 3 Years in communications supporting a national, geographically dispersed organization. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), Adobe Acrobat, and Contact Monkey (or other, similar campaign management tool). Preferred Qualifications: Strong Adobe Creative Suite skills a plus. Knowledge of HRIS systems, preferably Workday
