Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Accountant in Tualatin, Oregon. The role primarily involves maintaining precise financial records and processing financial transactions. This position also allows you to play a crucial role in the financial health of our operations by ensuring our financial transactions are accurately recorded and reported.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the accurate and timely processing of financial transactions
• Ensure precise record-keeping of all financial transactions
• Perform monthly account closures as per the standard procedures
• Address and resolve any discrepancies or issues related to financial transactions
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports and statements
• Monitor the financial status of customer accounts and take appropriate actions as needed
• Collaborate with the finance team to ensure the accuracy of financial data
• Implement and maintain financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations
• Provide support during financial audits and assist in the implementation of audit recommendations
• Contribute to the financial planning and budgeting processes. Requirements • Possession of a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
• Prior experience in a senior accounting role is essential.
• Proficiency in the month-end close process.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.
• Experience with accounting software and databases.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to handle confidential information.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly in Excel.
• Familiarity with the preparation of tax returns and audits.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Readiness to adhere to all company policies and procedures.
• Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines.
• Relevant certification such as CPA or CMA is a plus.
