Cadence Bank System Administrator II SYSTE002193 in Tupelo, Mississippi

This is a System Administrator II position located in the Tupelo, Ms area. 

Job Summary: Systems Administrators are responsible for completing tasks assigned in support of personal computers, servers and peripherals and the software required to operate these systems.

Responsibilities: Installs, configures and supports all departmental servers, PCs, peripherals and software applications.  Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Troubleshoots application, server and PC performance issues. Recommends upgrades, patches for applications and equipment and new software applications. Provides technical support and guidance to users. Purchases technology related equipment and software.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related area of specialty preferred and 2-3 years of experience in the field or in a related field. Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices and procedures within an Information Technology related field. Requires the ability to travel between multiple locations. Reliable transportation is required. Must be available to serve as needed on an after hours on-call support rotation. Must be available 24x7 for technical support as required.
