JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Job Summary

· Assist the staff of the Nanofabrication laboratory in various tasks related to the operation and maintenance of the facility.

· Work up to 25 hours per week on a flexible schedule.

· Gain valuable experience and skills in nanofabrication and materials research.

Job Duties

· Stock supplies and consumables for the laboratory, such as gloves, masks, wipes, chemicals, etc.

· Assist with ALD related maintenance tasks such as pump changes and material changes.

· Assist with waste collection within the lab.

· Wipe down tools and benches with appropriate cleaning agents to ensure a clean and safe environment.

· Load and unload materials and samples for the staff and users of the laboratory.

· Develop and document unit step process for various areas of the lab.

· Restock gas cylinders and monitor gas levels and pressures.

· Perform other tasks as assigned by the laboratory staff.

Job Requirements

· High school diploma or equivalent.

· Basic knowledge of nanofabrication and materials science.

· Ability to follow instructions and protocols.

· Must be able to work in a cleanroom environment.

· Attention to detail and accuracy.

· Good communication and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
