Northrop Grumman is seeking a Staff Supplier Site Technical Lead , for our supplier site, in Dallastown, PA . This position supports the Sentinel program, and is located at the supplier site, in Dallastown, PA. Ability to reside in the Dallastown, PA area is required for this role.
What You’ll Get To Do
As the embedded Technical Lead at our supplier's facility, you will be an integral part of the Supplier Management Team (SMT), providing support to the supplier and be the front line for NG to support the supplier development, test, and manufacturing for this multi-million-dollar project. The SMT includes contributors from multiple organizations including the SMT Lead (Team Lead), Global Supply Chain (GSC), Mission Assurance (MA), Production, Engineering, Business Management (EVMS) and various other support functions.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Support SMT Lead with the following:
Drive compliant execution of the subcontract within cost / schedule
Address uncertainty through an organized and analytical forward-looking approach that identifies risks and opportunities
Provide technical support and monitoring in design, manufacturing, test and integration
Provide financial (EVMS) support and monitoring
Prepare briefings to support the SMT Lead and Segment Leadership in monitoring and controlling the subcontract
Support development and review of Supplier Statements of Work (SSOWs);
Support review of supplier proposal responses, including performing technical evaluations, reviewing supplier Basis of Estimates (BOEs), overall proposal quality reviews, and attending proposal related reviews
Provide on-site MRB support and manufacturing oversight

This position’s standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.
This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor of Science degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) discipline from an accredited university and 14 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree, 12 years with Masters, or 9 years with a PhD
Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance
Must be eligible to obtain and maintain Enhanced Security Clearances within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the company to meet its business needs
14 years’ experience in design, development, manufacturing or testing areas with demonstrated leadership in a technical role
Experience in EVMS or similar cost and schedule management systems
Experience with Material Review Boards (MRB)
Ability to be onsite with supplier 100% of time in Dallastown, PA with occasional travel to the Roy, UT program headquarters
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have
Proven ability to deliver effective communication verbally, written, and through well-crafted presentations across all levels of an organization.
Control Account Manager (CAM) Earned Value Management System experience
Ability to demonstrate independent creative thinking and problem-solving capabilities
Graduate degree in STEM, related field, or MBA
Active secret clearance and Sentinel Program Access
Experience with SAP, NX, Team Center, Jira
Understanding of Lean, Agile or Six Sigma Tools
Experience in the development and manufacture of major maintenance vehicles / custom transporters
Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Salary Range: $150,000 - $225,000
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
