Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Accountant based in Urbandale, Iowa. This role involves intricate accounting functions within a dynamic environment. As a Sr. Accountant, you will be tasked with a variety of responsibilities that require a high level of attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct account reconciliation to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance

• Carry out balance sheet reconciliation to verify account balances match with the general ledger

• Perform bank reconciliations regularly to ensure accuracy

• Manage and maintain the general ledger for accuracy and completeness

• Prepare and post journal entries as part of the accounting function

• Utilize Microsoft Excel for data analysis and financial reporting

• Handle month-end close procedures efficiently and accurately

• Oversee contractual billing processes and ensure they are carried out in a timely manner

• Manage high-volume invoicing tasks, ensuring all invoices are sent and processed correctly. Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation, Balance Sheet Reconciliation, and Bank Reconciliations

• Mastery of General Ledger and Journal Entries management

• Expertise in Microsoft Excel

• Ability to handle Month End Close procedures

• Experience with Contractual billing

• Familiarity with High-Volume Invoicing

• Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field

• CPA certification is preferred

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• High attention to detail and accuracy

• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Knowledge of accounting software and systems

• Strong ethical standards and integrity in professional conduct

• Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize work.
