This Business Systems Analyst role bridges the gap between supply chain and IT. This position will leverage its expertise in both areas to analyze, implement, upgrade, and maintain various supply chain applications, ensuring smooth operations. In collaboration with IT specialists, evaluate problems with new and modified systems, including the logical flow, input errors, interconnections among data fields and program elements within a flow of related programs, and recommends solutions to both supply staff and IT specialists. Participate on project teams for software upgrades, new functionality implementation, and process improvements by attending meetings, providing guidance, and offering assistance as needed. Manages conflicts and facilitates agreements between sponsors, internal clients and IT organizations. Performs maintenance, configuration and usage of assigned modules and applications, including look-ups and related web applications. Performs root cause analysis related to system issues and solves problems with effective solutions. Follows change control procedures to configuration modifications, data changes, enhancements, and other system changes with appropriate documentation. Determine and maintain integration points and verifies consistent data between assigned application components, including Asset Suite, HRMIS, PeopleSoft Financials, Sunflower, Shipping and other supply chain-centric applications. Works with business organizations to improve processes and develop full utilization of system functionality. Establishes communications and discussions between key process stakeholders. Supports data owners, data stewards, and process managers in use of data and assists users in developing and implementing reports. Acquires user information to improve products and services. Coordinates user problem-solving feedback and enhancement/upgrade involvement. Supports new application projects including version upgrades and major enhancements. Assesses product's applicability to the business, tests product for functionality in business environment. Provides training and user assistance. Requirements: Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Business Systems or a related technical field is preferred. With a Bachelor's Degree in applicable fields, 5 years of experience is required. With an Associate's Degree in applicable fields, 7 years of experience is required.
