Location: Vancouver, Washington Type: Direct Hire Job #8107 Salary: $40.00 Overview: A well-established civil and environmental engineering firm that has been serving the Pacific Northwest for over 20 years is seeking a Transportation Design Engineer to join their organization. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of civil and environmental engineering projects while collaborating with a talented and experienced team. This full-time position is located in Vancouver, WA. Pay rate: $40 - $50 Benefits: Full medical, dental, and vision benefits for employees and dependents Roth and 401(k) retirement plans Profit sharing and bonus opportunities 9/80 work schedule Professional licensure and development reimbursement Responsibilities: Collaborate with teams to design and deliver transportation projects at the local, state, and federal levels Develop roadway infrastructure solutions for projects of all sizes and complexities Take on a lead or supporting role in multidisciplinary teams Utilize AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation InRoads, or OpenRoads to create efficient, effective designs Contribute to geometric roadway design, quality control, and code compliance to ensure top-tier project outcomes Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (or related field) + EIT certification (minimum) or PE license Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or MicroStation InRoads/OpenRoads Knowledge of transportation design standards (AASHTO, MUTCD, NACTO, State DOT Manuals) Experience working with federal agencies (FHWA, NPS, USFS, NRCS, etc.) is a plus Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills Work sponsorship is not available at this time.
