The Program

The Nestlé Internal Audit program, of approximately 4 years, provides a unique opportunity to get to know all functions and businesses across the globe. Auditors travel a maximum of 6 months per year, according to a fixed calendar. By using proven methodologies, tools and data analytics, auditors provide value added risk assurance and improvement recommendations.

A Day in the Life of an International Auditor

  • Prepare and execute risk-based audits / reviews of business units, factories, head offices and processes

  • Evaluate processes and controls to ensure operational effectiveness and efficiency

  • Review compliance with laws, regulations, contracts, policies, and procedures

  • Ensure reliability and integrity of reporting, confidentiality of information and safeguarding of assets

  • Identify and recommend control enhancements and process improvement

  • Communicate findings and recommendations for corrective actions

  • Present audit results to stakeholders and agree timelines for recommendation implementation

  • Maintain and update audit programs, manuals, and tools

What will make you successful

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering or comparable degree

  • 2-4 years of professional business experience (e.g .Finance, Audit, Marketing, Sales, Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality Management)

  • Strong overall business acumen. Finance literacy preferred

  • Excellent Excel skills. Ability to leverage data analytics. SAP knowledge preferred

  • Working proficiency in English and at least one additional language

  • Team player with high degree of flexibility, persistence, curiosity, and openness to other cultures

  • Willingness to travel internationally up to 50% of the time
