Job Title: Assembler 2nd Shift

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as an Assembler on the 2nd Shift. You will be responsible for light assembly tasks involving interior injection molded products. Working within a cell of 3-4 assembly stations, you will handle small plastic pieces, snapping them into other plastic components and placing them into the completed bin. Each cell has a different piece rate to measure performance, which can range between 200-400 pieces per shift.

Responsibilities

  • Perform light assembly tasks involving interior injection molded products.

  • Work within a cell of 3-4 assembly stations.

  • Handle small plastic pieces and snap them into other plastic components.

  • Place completed assemblies into the designated bin.

  • Meet the piece rate performance metrics, which range from 200-400 pieces per shift.

Essential Skills

  • 1 year of manufacturing experience.

  • Ability and willingness to work 50 hours a week.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • High volume assembly experience.

  • Machine operating experience.

Work Environment

The work environment includes a 30-minute lunch break and two 10-minute breaks. You will be working on the 2nd shift in a structured and performance-driven setting.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Vicksburg, Michigan.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.70 - $18.70/hr.
