C.H. Robinson Implementation Specialist- Logistics Support in Victoria, Australia

C.H. Robinson is currently seeking an Implementation Specialist- Logistics Support to join the team in Product support team. As an Implementation Specialist you will be responsible for managing and leading the branch customer implementation process and follow up. You will bring structure and visibility to the sales and operations teams helping to close gaps that can occur during account handoff and implementation. Leveraging project management principals, you will help to follow up on critical action items with internal teams and customer contacts.

This role will partner with operations as a commercial bridge to the account management team to ensure the customer’s expectations are fulfilled during implementation. The Implementation Specialist role will develop business knowledge and the foundational skills to enable a flexible career path in a variety of critical customer-oriented roles at CH Robinson.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The duties and responsibilities of this position consists of, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Contribute toward development and adoption of tools, processes, and presentations for Implementation

  • Successfully execute the C.H. Robinson’s Implementation Methodology, including:

  • Document customer expectations

  • Lead discovery meetings and capture the current processes of the customer

  • Document & contribute to the Future State Design including the creation of customer process maps when needed, documenting changes in roles and responsibilities, and identifying opportunities for process improvement to increase productivity

  • Track and maintain action items throughout implementation

  • Manage 30, 60, & 90 day follow up with all new customers

  • Support customer reporting needs identified during implementation

  • Support customer technology demonstrations for training purposes during implementation

  • Ensure SOPs document required fields for operations to ensure data quality and accuracy

  • Work with operations teams to ensure SOP is followed

  • Communicate proactively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure customer needs are met

  • Track and maintain accurate status and details of potential, active, and closed implementation activity managed by the Implementation Specialist, leveraging Monday.com

  • Demonstrate awareness of core products, modes, and services of C.H. Robinson

  • Understand each assigned customer’s business model and competitive advantages

  • Handle special projects quickly and efficiently, as assigned

  • Other duties or responsibilities as assigned according to the team and/or country specific requirements

QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

  • High School Diploma or Graduate/ equivalent degree

  • 4+ years operations experience in the logistics and supply chain industry

Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university

  • Attention to detail, accuracy, and problem solving

  • Ability to organize, design, develop and deliver projects for internal and external audiences at all levels

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with subject matter experts internally and externally at all levels

  • Experience working and thriving in a continuous improvement environment

  • Experience and comfort in dealing with ambiguity and able to deliver with minimal oversight

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of programs
