Job Title: Senior Consultant, GH-TAMS Assignment Financial Closeout

Department/Location: Institutional Support- Global Health / Mostly virtual, but time in the Washington, DC office may be required

Overview:IBTCI is seeking a consultant to support the financial closeout of USAID Global Health Technical Assistance Mission Support (GH-TAMS). IBTCI and its partner, Dexis Consulting Group, are implementing GH-TAMS. GH-TAMS is a $125 million five-year contract designed to provide USAID operating units working on health-related activities with short- and medium-term technical services of consultants with expertise in health technical areas and program cycle activities. The activities of GH-TAMS support cross-cutting health issues such as gender, health systems strengthening, environment, science and technology.

Responsibilities

Essential Duties/Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • In coordination with the Finance and Contracts team, support financial management and closeout of GH-TAMS assignments, including expenditure tracking and financial reporting.
  • Support the creation of timely and accurate required and ad hoc financial reports to IBTCI and USAID.
  • In coordination with the Project Director, support the development of cost estimates for consultant assignments, including determining daily rates, ensuring soundness of budgeted costs, and verifying availability of funding with the Finance team.
  • Ensure project compliance with USAID and IBTCI procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Perform other duties assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • Minimum eight years of relevant experience in international development, global operations, and project financial management of equally large and complex USAID projects.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting USAID budget development and analysis, including accounts payables and receivables.
  • Strong understanding of USG rules and regulations and reporting requirements.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.

Education:Masters degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

PreferredKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Working proficiency in Deltek, Concur, and Microsoft 365 Office products is desirable.

Working Environment:Work is typically performed in an office environment. Currently the company is allowing hybrid work in the District of Columbia, Maryland and Virginia (DMV) area. This can be updated by the company.

Physical Requirements:This is largely a sedentary position that requires the ability to speak, hear, see, and lift small objects up to 20 lbs.

Supervisory Responsibility:This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.

Travel:Travel is not required.

Work Authorization:Must be authorized to work in the USA. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
