Responsibilities

Job Purpose

The GZ Product Lines Director is the leadership and product line interface and is accountable to maximise alignment, synergies, and opportunities across multiple PLs at a GZ level. This role will drive PL growth strategies, work across PL teams to support new technology introduction, integration opportunities, support solution selling and workforce and asset utilisation.

Working with the GZ Product Line Managers, the role is responsible for enabling delivery of the GZ Product Line strategies and to ensure healthy market share positions and drive top line PLs growth, greater than the sum of the individual PLs.

This role will manage the white space between the different product lines and capitalize on multi-PL relationships and bundling opportunities.

Roles & Responsibilities

SAFETY, SECURITY & COMPLIANCE

  • Maintains the highest standards of corporate governance, ensuring that all activities are carried out ethically and in compliance with Company’s Security, Compliance & HSE policies, Management System, relevant laws, regulations, standards, and industry practices and complies with the Company’s Rules to Live By

  • Demonstrate effective safety leadership for the health and safety arrangements of all subordinates and for any persons visiting them while on the Company premises.

  • In case of concerns with safety, quality non-conformances, or integrity concerns, exercises ‘Stop Work Authority’ to suspend operations.

  • Monitor performance trends across the remit, to identify corrective and proactive interventions.

  • Share knowledge across the operations to ensure best practice quality management.

    QUALITY

  • Responsible for being familiar with the Company's Quality policies and taking an active role in the compliance and improvement of Weatherford’s Quality Management System

  • Maintains service quality as an immediate priority when working across all areas of the business and continually seeks areas for improvement.

  • Coordinate with the Quality function to maintain, communicate, and implement Quality Management System (QMS) in operations locations.

  • Monitor performance trends across the remit, to identify corrective and proactive interventions.

  • Share knowledge across the operations to ensure best practice quality management.

  • Collaborate with Global PL Quality managers to ensure the necessary quality systems are in place within the GZ.

    TECHNOLOGY & PL STRATEGY

  • Work with the GZ Product Line Managers to ensure all applicable components of the GZ and GPL strategies are developed into a cohesive GZ strategy and fully executed across the GZ.

  • Consolidates new technology needs and facilitate opportunities.

  • Contribute to & review critical and non/routine country Bid Summary Analysis (BSA’s) for applicable projects with justification both strategic and financial.

  • Critical leadership role to support and help enable integrated segment solutions selling.

  • Share accountability with sales and business development teams for local customer relationships and market share encroachment. Maintain a high profile within customer community.

  • Facilitate the support functions to deliver key services and support to enable efficient execution of PL strategies.

    COMMUNICATION

  • Serves and maintains effective communications with all key stakeholders including Global Product Lines, Geozone and external customers where needed.

  • Regularly and clearly communicate status of annual objectives, challenges you are facing meeting your objectives, issues you have identified that would likely impact your objectives, and quality concerns you have observed that require further elevation.

    FINANCIAL & PERFORMANCE

  • Monitor GZ Product Line(s) P&L, costs, revenue forecasts, helping to identify and improve PL financial performance and growth.

  • All employees have an accountability to the organization to be financially responsible whether they oversee a function budget or simply their own expenses.

    PEOPLE & DEVELOPMENT

  • Critical leadership role in developing capability within the PLs through coaching, mentoring and direct leadership.

  • Support PL GZ capability & competency development ensuring competency development of PL Field Engineers, Operators, and other PL roles.

  • Identify opportunities for competency development to muti-skill employee base.

  • Employees have a responsibility for developing their own careers within the Company including completing all necessary function, compliance & business standards training to enhance their knowledge, skills, and experience.

  • Employees should engage on a regular basis with their line manager to discuss their personal performance, objectives, and opportunities to enhance their skills and experience to support their career potential.

Qualifications

Experience & Education

REQUIRED

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, or related field from an accredited University (or diploma/certificate with relevant work experience)

  • 15+ years’ experience in an Engineering, Service Delivery, or related functional role

  • Subject matter expertise in designated Product Line(s)

    PREFERRED

  • 10+ years’ experience or more in a leadership position driving influence cross functionally

    Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

    REQUIRED

  • Significant relevant experience in PL related capacity: Liner Hanger, Completions , Cementing, Drilling fluids, Well services, PPS, Drilling Services, ALS (expert in at least two to encourage teamwork, synergy, collaboration) Integrated projects in the area of production and completion of wells.

  • Significant leadership experience, ideally in a cross-PL capacity

  • Strong knowledge of technologies and commercial strategies, quality assurance and philosophies

  • Proven ability to execute and achieve impactful results in the organization.

  • Detail oriented individual with proven ability to prioritize and complete multiple projects concurrently and within projected deadlines. Ability to offer creative solutions and resourceful problem-solving skills.

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively as part of global & virtual teams across multiple geographies/vertical markets.

  • Well organized, effective written, verbal and presentation and communication skills. Ability to prepare and present clear and concise oral and written opinions, reports, and presentations.

    PREFERRED

  • Experience with WPTS and OEPS (Weatherford Quality systems)

  • Experience of project delivery & implementation

  • Experience of Oil and Gas surface systems, down-hole tools & applications

    Travel Requirement:

    This role may require domestic and international travel of up to: 25-50%
