Responsibilities

The R&M Manager is responsible for the management of the R&M Facilities (Plants) in Mexico, including providing overall direction, coordination and evaluation of all Quality, Safety, direct and support employees at the facility.

  • Stablish an operational model. In the manufacturing world that is natural that is how they run plans. HSE, quality, improvement initiative, planning mindset, accounting, main focus: productivity efficiency, cost reduction.

  • Change management

  • Bring out exposure of the manufacturing operations into the team that is being consolidated in Mx.

  • Strong financial person – delivery of the business

  • Strong in operations – financial exposure – fully understand P&L key areas on the balance sheet to impact.

  • Plan, resources, human capital, outcome together into a plan.

  • Leadership skills.

  • Multiproduct line for international costumers

  • Multi - plan management experience - Multi facilities

  • Lean foundations

  • Demonstrated experience with interaction of all stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • 5-8 years min experience in a manufacturing or R&M setting with hands on involvement in leading productivity improvement via setup reduction, tooling improvements, etc.

  • Minimum of 5 years supervisory experience with multiple direct reports

  • Fundamental Lean Training and background knowledge of lean principles preferred.

  • Strong understanding and experience in the oil & gas industry (preferred)

  • Experience working in a multi-product line plant serving international customers.

  • Advanced English level.

  • The R&M Manager will also be responsible for achieving the Key Performance Indicators and Objectives defined for the Plants in order to satisfy the demand. This will be accomplished through the development and implementation of cost-effective R&M processes and methods, delivering, and granting tool/product specifications and quality standards ensuring HSE compliance.
