Job Title: Fabricator

Job Description

We are seeking skilled fabricators to join our habitability team. The ideal candidate will have experience in carpentry, fabrication, and blueprint reading. This position involves building furniture and may suit individuals with backgrounds as joiners, shipwrights, or those with HT experience in a carpenter shop or CB experience in the navy.

Responsibilities

• Build and assemble furniture according to blueprints and specifications.

• Perform joinery and shipwright tasks as required.

• Utilize carpentry skills to complete various fabrication projects.

• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in carpentry and fabrication.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

• Experience in framing and finish carpentry.

• Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Must have DBIDS and HII clearance.

• Experience working in shipyards is preferred.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Virginia Beach, Virginia.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $28.00/hr.
