Role Profile:

Given the worldwide importance of energy demand throughout the world, WSP is reaching out to its global footprint to find the best talent to deliver projects worldwide. WSP is looking for experts in thermal generation or oil & gas to support the pipeline of projects in our operation in WSP US.

Key Responsibilities

· Coordinate and execute the design packages of the electrical discipline for Thermal Generation projects in the US.

· Interact and execute project activities with the US Leads

Attributes Key for the Role

· Strong understanding of Oil & Gas infrastructure projects and/or Thermal Power Plants

· Knowledge of thermal generation processes and facilities

· Develop, calculate and analyse processes

· Make PIDs, control and process diagrams

· Work on design and analysis of electrical aspects of thermal power plants or oil&gas related facilities.

· Calculate and specify components and sub systems of thermal power plants

Desired qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering

· 6 years of relevant experience in design of Thermal Power Generation Plants or Oil&Gas related facilities.

· Knowledge in AutoCAD modelling

· Familiar with NEC, NFPA. Knowledge of medium voltage unit design including applicable NFPA, IEEE, UL standards

· Fluent communication in English, both written and spoken.
