Role Profile:

Given the worldwide importance of energy demand throughout the world, WSP is reaching out to its global footprint to find the best talent to deliver projects worldwide. WSP is looking for experts in thermal generation or oil & gas to support the pipeline of projects in our operation in WSP US.

Key Responsibilities

· Design packages of the instrumentation and control discipline for Thermal Generation projects in the US.

· Interact and execute project activities with the US Leads

Attributes Key for the Role

· Strong understanding of Oil & Gas infrastructure projects and/or Thermal Power Plants

· Prepare comprehensive Instrumentation design packages.

· Prepare design packages and engineering budgetary cost estimates.

· Recommend modifications to improve the performance of field instrumentation and process control.

· Communicate with equipment vendors and technical consultants to resolve complex issues concerning new technology and upgrades of equipment.

Desired qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.

· 10 years of experience in instrumentation and control engineering support for hydrocarbon facilities and/or Thermal generation plants.

· Expert in with DCS, ESD and SCADA Systems design, modifications and upgrades.
