Role Overview:

This role will be responsible for processing and validating outsourced Payroll for India. It will provide cover from processing and validating outsourced Payroll for APAC countries, while interacting with internal and external stakeholders.

Remote, Hybrid or on site is appropriate for this role.

Ontime, accurate payrolls, responsive to customer queries.

Will be responsible for India payroll delivery and working with outsourced providers to ensure deadlines are met according to the payroll timetables.

About the Role

  • Performs computations and clerical duties necessary to prepare payroll information for computer input, adjust computer output, and process exception items or those requiring special handling.

  • Responds to inquiries from employees regarding salary deductions and changes in compensation.

  • Operates controls and checking processes pre defined by Management.

  • Prepares, maintains, and compiles various payroll records.

  • Assignments are typically routine and repetitious in nature.

  • Work performed within narrowly defined parameters.

  • Full judgment required in resolving standard problems.

  • Close supervision involving detailed instructions where work is typically checked and monitored on a routine basis.

  • Low level Vendor Management with regards to payroll cut offs and run deadlines. Act as a payroll policy advisor to department managers and staff.

About you:

  • You will have experience of preparing payroll information for computer input, computer output and processing exception items or those requiring special handling.

  • Have experience with high volume payroll.

  • Have experience dealing with India tax year end.

  • Experience responding to inquiries from employees regarding salary deductions and changes in compensation.

  • Great attention to detail to prepare, maintain, and compile various payroll records.
