New York University Associate or Full Professor, Metaphysics and Epistemology broadly construed in United States

The Department of Philosophy of New York University ( http://as.nyu.edu/philosophy.html ) invites applications for a faculty position at the rank of Associate Professor (with tenure) or Full Professor. Area of specialization: Metaphysics and Epistemology (very broadly construed to include the philosophy of language, mathematics, mind, and science) . Areas of competence: Open. The start date is September 1, 2024. This position is pending administrative and budgetary approval.

Pay Transparency: In compliance with NYC’s Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is $95,000 to $145,000 at the rank of Associate Professor and $135,000 to $225,000 at the rank of Full Professor. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate’s work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and organizational considerations when extending an offer.
