Jack Henry is seeking a Software Support Representative for our Banking Operations Support Services team. You will provide operational support for Jack Henry & Associates core systems products and all related add-on modules to in-house and outsourced customers. This team focuses on areas such as CD, IRA, Safe Deposit Boxes and Customer Information Files. This position can be worked remotely from anywhere in the United States.

This position can be worked from our Monett or Springfield, MO offices or remotely throughout the U.S.

What you’ll be responsible for:

  • Provides level one troubleshooting. Accurately assesses the customer's product issue or problem. Asks the user well thought out or detailed questions and carefully listens to the user's response to fully comprehend the need, product issue, and best avenue for resolving the problem.

  • Identifies and resolves application and service issues and any other questions that may arise. Answers general application questions.

  • Provides appropriate personnel a precise understanding of user's issues when the problem needs to be escalated to a higher level.

  • Monitors incoming cases and emails and resolves in accordance with Service Level Standards (SLS). Uses available support tools to assist the customer and/or recreate the issue.

  • Participates in training programs to continuously improve product knowledge and service skills.

  • May perform other job duties as assigned.

    What you’ll need to have:

  • Minimum of five years’ experience in a financial institution or technical support role.

    What would be nice for you to have:

  • Strong working knowledge of the financial industry as it relates to banks and credit unions.

  • Expertise in CD, IRA, Safe Deposit Box, and Customer Information File (CIF) operations within a financial institution.

  • Experience with Jack Henry core systems Silverlake or CIF 20/20.

  • Ability to identify and resolve moderately complex application and service issues.

  • Outstanding customer service skills as set forth by corporate policies and standards.

  • Excellent communication and customer interaction skills.
