RESPONSIBILITIES:Provides individual counseling and treatment/recovery plan preparation, monitoring and reviewFacilitates activities of daily living, community meetings, engagement, carrying out treatment planning in milieuProvide therapeutic interactions to foster patient’s social, cognitive and behavioral skill developmentProvide supervision of milieu staffProvide psychosocial interventions to teach skills for coping with urges, craving, impulsive behavior and cognitive distortions in thinking, motivational interviewing techniquesProvide individual, group and family counselingProvide multi-family group counselingPlan and facilitate interactions with residents within the milieu to build social, emotional, and behavioral functioningAssisting in supervision of activities related to establishing a treatment environmentPrepare and maintain case recordsEXPERIENCE:Minimum one (1) year of related experienceExperience working with substance abuse disorders/mental health clients preferredEDUCATION:CASAC or CASAC-T preferred but not necessary
