Actalent Immediate Hiring For Certified Phlebotomist in Wake Forest, North Carolina

Job Title: Phlebotomist at Wake Forest, NC

Job Description

Seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to perform a range of duties including drawing blood from pediatric and adult patients, processing blood samples, and ensuring proper specimen handling. This role involves routine and complex procedures such as finger and heel sticks, pediatric venipuncture, and blood cultures. Candidates will also provide patient instructions for urine or stool sample collection, perform specimen preparation, and manage data entry and billing functions. Additional responsibilities include daily tracking and distribution of specimens, maintaining a clean work area, performing quality control procedures, and adhering to compliance regulations.

Hard Skills

  • 1-2 years’ experience as a phlebotomist

  • Phlebotomy certification (past or current)

  • AHA BLS certification

Soft Skills

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Effective communication skills

Job Type

This is a contract position with a duration of 3 Month(s).

Hours: Monday-Friday from 9:00a-5:30p

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Wake Forest, North Carolina.

Work Environment

Onsite at the offsite laboratory.
