SAP Local IT Event Manager (f/m/d) in Walldorf, Germany

What you`ll do

As a member of our team, you will:

  • Collaborate with the internal event department and various SAP divisions to conduct internal events at the Walldorf location.

  • Install and operate IT infrastructure for small events (laptops, sound systems, mobile devices, tools, and meeting technology).

  • Support and produce hybrid events to broadcast live.

  • Act as the IT contact and further develop and expand the system technology on the event spaces.

  • Coordinate other colleagues and service providers to support the multitude of events.

  • Regularly reflect on your work and events to continuously improve our services.

  • Ideally, program and further develop internal tools for planning and managing events and event equipment or IT services.

What you bring

We are looking for someone who takes initiative, is persistent, and remains curious. We are looking for you if you possess the following qualities:

  • High ability and willingness to work under pressure, even with ad-hoc tasks.

  • Ability to work independently and take responsibility for assigned tasks.

  • Open working style and openness to new ideas.

  • Fluent English and German language skills oral and written..

  • Willingness to work even during off-hours.

  • 5 years of professional experience in IT and network environments.

  • 3 years of experience in streaming/FOH at live events.

  • 3 years of professional experience in event support/event management.

We connect people, events, and technology to ensure the best experience! To this end, the IT Event Services EMEA team coordinates and delivers all IT services for SAP's customer and employee events within the EMEA region. The team supports over 200 events a year, from small trade shows to large events with over 10,000 participants across Europe. With our logistics center and permanent event spaces at the Walldorf/St. Leon-Rot location, it is permanently deployed at SAP's headquarters.
