Aerotek CNC Operator - 1st Shift - Start ASAP in Warren, Michigan

Job Title: CNC Operator - 1st Shift - Start ASAP

Job Description

Candidates will be monitoring CNC lathe machines, ensuring parts are produced correctly, and making necessary offsets. You will use specialized gages to ensure parts meet specifications. Occasionally, you will load parts into the machine. If a part gets stuck, you will need to lock out the machine to remove it and determine the problem. If a tool becomes broken or chipped, you will need to change the tool.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor CNC lathe machines to ensure parts are produced correctly.

  • Use specialized gages to verify parts meet specifications.

  • Load parts into the machine as needed.

  • Lock out the machine to remove stuck parts and identify problems.

  • Change out broken or chipped tools.

Essential Skills

  • At least 1 year of recent experience with CNC lathe machines.

  • Experience using gages such as micrometers and calipers.

  • Basic understanding of troubleshooting machines, such as handling sensor issues.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
