Responsibilities

-Develop and draft high-quality 2D and 3D models using CAD software.

-Create detailed schematics and technical drawings that accurately represent design specifications.

-Collaborate with engineering teams to understand project requirements and provide design solutions.

-Conduct Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to evaluate the performance of designs under various conditions.

-Revise designs based on feedback from team members or changes in project scope.

-Maintain organized documentation of design processes, revisions, and final outputs.

-Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices throughout the design process.

-AutoCAD: 2-6 years (Required)

-Experience with welding/fabrication

-Experience field measuring

Day to Day Responsibilities

Requirements

• Understand how to breakdown a material list from Estimators.

• Fence & Railing experience is preferred

• Steel Fabrication

• Proficiency in CAD software.

• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand complex engineering concepts.

• Experience in drafting and building detailed schematics for mechanical systems.

• Familiarity with Finite Element Analysis (FEA) techniques is a plus.

• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and understand the urgency of each project.

• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members across various departments.

• A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is preferred but not mandatory for candidates with relevant experience.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $65000.00 - $70000.00/hr.
