Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Sr. Accountant in Warwick, Rhode Island. As a Sr. Accountant, your role will be multifaceted, encompassing a range of responsibilities from account reconciliation to month-end closing. You'll play an integral part in maintaining the financial health of the organization, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in our financial operations.

Responsibilities

• Accurately perform account reconciliation to ensure financial records are precise.

• Conduct balance sheet reconciliation to validate that all entries are accounted for and properly posted.

• Execute bank reconciliations to confirm all transactions align with bank statements.

• Maintain the general ledger, ensuring all information is accurate and up-to-date.

• Prepare and post journal entries, providing accurate record of company transactions.

• Utilize Microsoft Excel for financial analysis and reporting.

• Conduct month-end close procedures, ensuring all financial data has been recorded and reconciled.

• Operate NetSuite for accounting functions and reporting.

• Use Oracle for financial management, including data analysis and reporting.

• Employ SAP for business operations and customer relations. Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is required

• Knowledge of Balance Sheet Reconciliation is essential

• Experience in conducting Bank Reconciliations is necessary

• Familiarity with General Ledger is crucial

• Ability to prepare and manage Journal Entries is significant

• Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel is needed

• Experience in executing Month End Close procedures is required

• Knowledge of NetSuite is advantageous

• Familiarity with Oracle is beneficial

• Experience with SAP is preferred
