Description

We are in search of an Attorney/Lawyer to join our team in Washington, District of Columbia. In this role, you will handle tort cases in high volumes, advise clients on litigation strategies, and participate in all stages of trial preparation. You will have the opportunity to work directly with clients and guide them through their cases, fostering a strong rapport and understanding of their needs.

Responsibilities:

• First chair trial experience and experience managing high volume tort cases from initiation to conclusion

• Guiding clients through their cases, establishing a strong rapport and understanding of their needs

• Drafting complex complaints, motions, pleadings, and responding to defendant's motions when necessary

• Consulting with clients about mass torts litigation strategies, potential outcomes, and negotiation tactics

• Making informed decisions during negotiations and mediations with opposing counsel to successfully resolve cases

• Participating in all stages of trial preparation and execution, including witness preparation, research, opening and closing statements, and jury selection

• Staying updated on current case law, legislation, and procedural rules pertaining to mass torts to provide accurate advice to clients

• Leading and mentoring less experienced litigators and paralegals within the team

Requirements

• Possession of a valid license to practice law

• Minimum of 7 years of detail oriented experience as an Attorney/Lawyer

• Expertise in Document Management

• Ability to conduct and manage Briefings

• Experience in Civil Litigation

• Experience in handling Complex Litigation
