The Opportunity:
CACI is looking for experienced, innovative, and motivated Journeyman Systems Engineer to support the mission objectives and needs of the U.S. Navy in the Washington, DC area. The position is contingent upon award of contract.
Responsibilities:
Apply the theories and principles of science and mathematics to research and develop economical solutions to technical problems
Review ship system design and provide metrics with regards to production.
Provide engineering services in the areas of quality program planning, implementation, and assessment.
Provide statistical analyses of quality issues.
Provide reliability-engineering metrics that report performance in
the areas of mission readiness and equipment failures for mission-essential equipment
Provide assistance in ship’s modification, modernization and production technical planning.
Provide analysis of impacts of technical products or systems installed.
Qualifications:
Required:
Must hold a Secret clearance.
BS in engineering or related field
10+ years in Navy DoD and defense systems
Experience in Navy DoD, Weapon Systems, DoD/DoN procedures and Policies (DoD 5000 process, Middle Tier Acquisition process)
Desired:
Master’s degree in engineering or related field
Professional Engineer License
Strong written and verbal communication skills

The proposed salary range for this position is:
$85,800 - $180,200
