Job Title: Aircraft Sheet Metal Mechanic

Job Description

We are seeking experienced Aircraft Sheet Metal Mechanics to join our team. In this role, you will perform sheet metal fabrication, assembly, installations, and modifications. The project is expected to last for over a year and offers a consistent Monday to Friday schedule from 7am to 4:30pm.

Responsibilities

• Perform sheet metal fabrication, assembly, installations, and modifications

• Read and interpret engineering drawings

• Work on various aircraft including commercial aircraft, regional jets, helicopters, and corporate jets

• Utilize hand and power tools effectively

• Ensure all work complies with MRO, Repair Station, P145, and P121 standards

Essential Skills

• 3-5+ years of experience in Aircraft Sheet Metal/Structures

• Proficiency in sheet metal fabrication, assembly, installation, and modification

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings

• Experience with various aircraft sheet metal work

• Possession of own tools, which are etched and inventoried

• Willingness to work 5+ hours of overtime weekly

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in structural modification and aircraft assembly

• Familiarity with rivet and sheet metal techniques

Work Environment

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Washington, Pennsylvania.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $45.00/hr.
