Friendship Village is seeking a skilled and dedicated HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining HVAC systems. This role requires a strong understanding of HVAC systems, proper maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure work is performed to t

ill assist the maintenance team with general maintenance requests as needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Install, repair, and maintain HVAC systems
  • Troubleshoot issues, diagnostic and resolving problems
  • Conduct regular inspections HVAC systems to identify potential issues and make necessary repairs before problems arise
  • Perform property maintenance tasks related to HVAC systems as needed
  • Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their HVAC needs
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used on each job
  • Adhere to all work and safety regulations

Requirements:

  • State of Iowa HVAC license required
  • Proficiency in with HVAC systems, installation, and repair
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to work weekend and holidays if needed
  • Ability to lift 60 lbs
