LINETEC Product Data Specialist I in WAUSAU, Wisconsin

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Linetec The Product Database Specialist I is responsible for developing and maintaining multiple databases used for estimating, order entry, purchasing, scheduling and manufacturing of standard and configured parts. This includes part set up, bills of material, routers for standard items, as well as configured rules for modified items. The individual will also be part of the team that manages \"global print coordination\" within the Linetec brand to support one time use parts in finishing processes. Principle Duties and Accountabilities: Manages database projects including development of schedules, system testing and coordinating with IT, marketing, product development, purchasing, scheduling, manufacturing, shipping and accounting services. Manages the global part list and helps to ensure orders will be processed in a timely manner by updating customer supplied drawings to be ready for production and linking to orders within the finishing system. Develops and maintains standard part database for ERP system, including standard cost, bills of material and manufacturing routers. Develops and maintains rules and tables for the configuration of non-standard parts, including pricing, bills of material and manufacturing routers. Develops and regulates engineering policies and procedures in conjunction with Database Supervisor. Helps to ensure that departmental goals are completed on time, accurately, and within budget. Position Requirements: Degree in Engineering/Technical discipline with experience in database management. Experience in a related technical field may replace degree requirements. Strong project management skills. Ability to work in a team environment. Thorough understanding of business processes as they relate to ERP system. Potentially available some evenings and weekends for system testing and remedial work. Thorough understanding of door and frame assembly or the ability to learn. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and AutoCAD/DWG Viewer, Bluebeam experience a plus. Able to think logically and read/write functional logic arguments (If, And, Or, Then, Else).
