Job Title: Warehouse Associate

Location: West Columbia, SC

Type: Part-Time

Reports To: Warehouse Supervisor

What You’ll Do:

As a Warehouse Associate, you’ll play a key role in keeping us running smoothly. You’ll be involved in everything from donation pickups to coordinating warehouse operations and helping with customer transactions. No two days will be the same, and you’ll be part of a supportive, team-oriented work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Donation Collection Assistant (35%)

• Screen donations for safety and usability.

• Handle receipts and submit them daily to our Donation Supervisor.

• Warehouse Coordination (35%)

• Support the Warehouse Supervisor when not out on pickups.

• Operate the forklift safely and efficiently.

• Evaluate the condition of incoming items like furniture and construction materials, and help determine pricing.

• Provide orientation for new volunteers when needed.

• Operating the Cash Register (25%)

• Help customers at the register, processing sales using cash or card payments.

• Count and balance the register daily.

• Other Duties (5%)

• Pitch in wherever needed to help keep things running smoothly!

What We’re Looking For:

• A high school diploma or equivalent.

• Strong customer service skills, including the ability to handle donations and resolve any donor concerns.

• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work in varied physical conditions (bending, climbing, standing, etc.).

• A valid driver’s license and good driving record.

• Willingness to pass a Criminal Background Check and Sexual Offender Check.

Pay Details: $14.25 to $14.50 per hour
