Well established snack and treats company is seeking a Facility Maintenance Technician for 1st shift to join their growing team. The right candidates will have the ability to repair and maintain the grounds, property, and equipment belonging to the company. Must be able and flexiible to work weekends and nights as needed. Responsibilities

The Facility Technician is responsible for maintaining the physical integrity of the facility by performing preventive maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting of equipment and systems.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine inspections and maintenance of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and other building systems.

• Troubleshoot and repair equipment malfunctions to minimize downtime and ensure operational efficiency.

• Conduct preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment according to schedules and guidelines.

• Work with pneumatics, three-phase electricity, control voltage, compressors, and automation systems.

• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and repairs.

• Coordinate with external contractors and vendors for specialized repairs and maintenance tasks.

• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies, providing timely and effective solution

• Must be available to work on call for the weekends or any special projects

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certifications in facilities maintenance preferred.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in facility maintenance or a related field.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in machine maintenance.

• Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.

• Knowledge of pneumatics, three-phase electricity, control voltage, compressors, and automation systems preferred.

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a smoke free environment

• wearing steel toe shoes

• manual lifting up to 50lbs

• working up to 8 hrs of overtime per week

• working weekends
