- Pay: Starting at $15.75/hour+ (Rate increase is calculated based on years of experience in a similar role)
The Office Specialist performs various duties, including administrative and clinical tasks, to ensure continuity of care for clients. The Office Specialist plans, organizes, and tracks services for clients and also performs administrative functions within the unit.
Essential Functions
- Coordinates with billing and insurance providers
- Sends renewal authorizations and concurrent reviews and checks the status of insurance for clients
- Inputs OQ scores and RANT assessment scores to online database
- Completes documentation on services provided
- Answers program phone calls and routes communication
Provides administrative support on assigned projects

Requirements
Education
- High School diploma or equivalent
Licenses/Certifications
- CPR certification (Valley will provide)
- Valley de-escalation certification
Preferred Qualifications
Two years of behavioral health or customer service experience
