Apply Salary Range: $42,000.00 To $46,000.00 Annually This position performs routine accounts payable and payroll clerk functions for Self-Direction under the supervision of the Controller.

What You Will Do:
Review time sheets and ensure they are completed and have proper authorizations for submission to ADP Verify employees pay rate Monitor PTO balances and payroll deductions Review monthly working hours to determine the employees status for benefits (part-time vs full-time) Record payroll into the accounting system on a bi-weekly basis. Verify the accuracy and validity of all transactions, ensure proper authorization are obtained for all payables Enter all invoices into the accounting system Process all electrical reimbursements and payment Pay all bills on a timely basis Ensure all checks or electrical payments are mailed with proper authorizations Follow up on all outstanding issues Maintain all financial records according to agency protocols Prepare annual 1099 tax forms Special projects as assigned Minimum Qualifications:
Associates degree
1-3 years of bookkeeping, payroll or related experience
Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and detail-oriented
Excel skills
Work Location: Nassau & Suffolk County area
Work Hours/Schedule: Monday Friday 9 AM 5 PM
Pay: $42,000 - $46,000/year
