Senior Human Resources Manager Position Summary:The HR Manager is a strategic and operational leader responsible for guiding HR Business Partners and HR Representatives across multiple facilities. This role is pivotal in driving HR initiatives that align with the business goals, fostering a high-performance culture, and ensuring legal compliance and best practices. The HR Manager will be instrumental in developing and implementing HR strategies, managing employee relations, and enhancing organizational effectiveness. Key Responsibilities: Strategic HR Leadership: Partner in the development and implementation of HR strategies that support the business objectives and drive a high-performance culture. Partner with HR senior management to identify HR priorities and align them with business goals. Lead the development and execution of HR programs and initiatives across multiple facilities. Team Management and Development: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of HR Business Partners and HR Representatives. Ensure continuous professional development for direct reports, building a team of well-rounded HR professionals. Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment. Actively participate in the business succession planning strategies to ensure a pipeline of talent for key positions. Employee Relations: Oversee employee relations across facilities, ensuring issues are addressed promptly and effectively. Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve employee relations and promote a positive workplace culture. Serve as a point of escalation for complex employee relations issues. Project Management: Lead and manage HR projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with business objectives and timely delivery. Develop project plans, set milestones, allocate resources, and track progress. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation of HR projects. Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure all HR practices comply with federal, state, and local regulations. Monitor and manage HR risks and implement policies to mitigate them. Oversee the handling of legal issues related to employment, including investigations and liaising with legal counsel as necessary. Analyze and report on compensation trends to inform strategic decisions. Organizational Development: Partner on organizational development initiatives to improve effectiveness and efficiency. Facilitate change management processes and support teams through organizational transitions. Promote a culture of continuous improvement and learning. HR Metrics and Reporting: Develop and track key HR metrics to measure the effectiveness of HR initiatives. Provide regular reports and insights to senior management to inform strategic decisions. Use data to drive HR strategies and improvements. Analyze and report on HR trends to inform strategic decisions. Partner with HR COEs to ensure value added program development Safety: Collaborate with the Safety team to ensure a safe and compliant work environment by partnering in the development and implementation of safety policies, conducting regular safety support when necessary, and promoting a culture of safety awareness and continuous improvement. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Professional HR certification (e.g., SPHR, SHRM-SCP) is highly desirable. Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive HR experience, with experience leading a team of HR professionals. Demonstrated experience managing HR teams across multiple locations. Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Proven ability to develop and implement HR strategies that align with business goals. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with the ability to flex as necessary.
