Deloitte University Experience Manager

Key Role Description:

Join our innovative and highly motivated Deloitte University (DU) Strategy, Innovation, and Guest Experience Team as we curate the experience of Deloitte University, the cultural home of Deloitte.

The Deloitte University SIE Manager will be responsible for leading the development, planning, and execution of innovative and strategic initiatives and projects at DU that are critical to maintaining and continuously improving the unique DU experience.

DU project efforts are frequently evolving based on the US firm priorities, the global DU experience model standards, and campus updates. Some projects will be longer term in nature and others will require creation, business-case development, pilot testing, revision, and development of a sustainment plan. The DU SIE Manager will be expected to lead and manage several projects while serving in an advisory capacity on other innovation and strategy related elements for DU Westlake and potentially other DU campuses. Our managers are seen as dot connectors cross-functionally, ensuring seamless translation between business requirements and technical capabilities.

The SIE Manager will need to be a strong communicator, presenter, and collaborator able to manage internal and external stakeholder relationships with confidence. This role will work closely with the DU Strategy Innovation and Experience team, DU ITS Team, DU Ops, DU Real Estate, and Deloitte Project Engineering teams (formerly DAS), as well as the broader DU team including Meeting Services (MES) and our Hospitality Operator.

Job Responsibilities:

Lead DU Strategy Innovation & Experience team projects:

  • Lead the development, planning, piloting and implementation of new and existing team projects including but not limited to Mobile App workstreams, Wearable Technology, Expansion Efforts, and Purpose and Culture initiatives.

  • Mentor and provide coaching to the DU Experience and Innovation specialist as added leverage, including oversight of meaningful work and projects

  • Work collaboratively with and in support of the entire SIE team by contributing to the development, planning, piloting and implementation of new and existing team projects

    Partner closely with cross-functional DU team leaders:

  • Collaborate and identify points of integration among DU leaders from various teams, including but not limited to: Operations, Communications, ITS, Meeting and Event Services, Talent, Real Estate, DU India, and Clients, to maintain the highest levels of carefully planned guest experience at DU

  • Work to identify and implement process improvement opportunities across multiple projects and various DU teams

  • Define and implement approaches for measuring the overall impact of Deloitte University Experience investments for our firm, communities, and clients

    Drive DU Experience roadmap:

  • Identify and lead strategic projects based on the DU Experience Model-a global Deloitte University strategic plan developed to establish a consistent standard of excellence for all DU guests

  • Build relationships with the global DU Experience Leaders to ensure sharing of best practices and enhancement of global brand consistency across the various DU locations

    Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree; MBA or advanced degree in preferred.

  • Minimum of 7 years of change management, project management, product management, strategy and operations, human capital or related areas, with a track record of leadership roles.

  • Proficient Microsoft Office skills (PowerPoint, Teams, Excel, etc.)

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.

  • This role requires the selected candidate to reside in the DFW are as onsite work at Deloitte University in Westlake, TX is expected at least 3 days of the work week.

    An Ideal Candidate will Posses

  • Ability to think strategically and tactically with innovation mindset.

  • Comprehensive project/program management experience, covering conception, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.

  • Proven consultative approach with exceptional communication and persuasion skills, tailored for all management tiers.

  • Strong executive level communication skills.

  • Aptitude for data analysis from multiple sources to discern patterns and frame compelling recommendations.

  • Demonstrated ability to plan, manage, and deliver projects on budget and on track.

  • Self-starter with the ability to proactively define objectives, adapt to changing priorities, prioritize workload and manage multiple large-scale projects simultaneously to produce deliverables in a fast-paced environment.

  • Desire to support large scale transformational change

  • A proven track record of global, cross-functional partnership and relationship management, preferably in a fast-moving or global industry.

  • Ability to leverage and collaborate effectively through Microsoft tools, particularly Teams; familiarity with Smartsheets is preferred
