Job Description
Position Purpose
The focus of this position is to provide a high level of confidential and executive administrative and fiscal management of the Century College Foundation to ensure efficient and effective operations and support for the Foundation Executive Director and the Foundation Board. The Foundation Manager plays an important and strategic role, overseeing the day-to-operations with delegated authority from the Executive Director of the Foundation to independently operate and make decisions that enable the Foundation Executive Director to work most effectively with internal and external stakeholders to fulfill the college’s mission, vision, core values, and interests. This position manages the donor database, major, individual and restricted funds bookkeeping, grants/scholarship acquisition processing, and provides professional level support to the Executive Director of Foundation and Foundation Board of Directors in areas of external relations including community and event planning , ensuring collaboration with stakeholders, preparing comprehensive reports and presentations, delivering outcomes through implementation of successful procedures, and to ensure timely completion for all financial and operational audits and other projects . The employee in this position must exercise judgement and high degree independent thinking and decision making.
Position Responsibilities
Coordinate and manage key processes and organizational duties to support donor database, gift processing, program budgets, and budget management for the Foundation to align with College’s strategic plan.
Manage accounts payable for the Foundation and process complex forms of incoming revenue and funds available for scholarship awarding.

Salary Range:
$70,009 - $112,455
(DOQ – Salary Placement will be done at time of hire.)
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree from regionally accredited institution
Experience with oversight of Foundations management or equivalent management skills at other for-profit or non-profit agencies.
Minimum 2 years of experience working with database software Microsoft Excel, Word, CSV files, and other programs that may be used to create and merge records for reports, mailing, and sharing between databases.
Business acumen, Bookkeeping/Accounting Experience developing and managing budgets, paying bills, tracking expenses, and processing and tracking incoming revenues.
Ability to create data queries and compile information and experience in working with database software.
Excellent and verbal communication skills sufficient to write correspondence and edit grants, promotional and informational materials.
Demonstrated ability to work well in a multi-ethnic and multi-cultural environment.
Preferred Qualification
Understanding of nonprofit budget and financial procedures.
Knowledge of IRS regulations and procedures as they relate to entering and acknowledging charitable donations.
2-3 years fundraising and/or nonprofit services experience in a two-year higher education institution.
Demonstration of community collaboration.
Understanding of statistics, data mining principles, and strategies.
