Our Williamsville Branch is hiring a sales-focused Licensed Relationship Banker to support and promote the inside sales opportunities within the branch. Licensed Relationship Bankers collaborate with business partners across all lines in the bank to further build knowledge of other areas of expertise. They work with personal and commercial customers and will build the skills to take on any number of careers.

You’ll also collaborate closely with our Wealth Advisors to provide comprehensive financial guidance and solutions. Your expertise in banking products, investment services, and customer service will be essential in helping our clients navigate their financial journey.

What we ask of you:

  • Ensure personal sales/referral goals are attained.

  • Maintain strong knowledge of Evans Bank products and services.

  • Participate in servicing, growing, and retaining the branch’s book of business.

  • Effectively utilize the sales process using the Sales Pipeline, Evans Rewards, On Boarding process, sales campaigns, and call nights.

  • Be an active member of the Licensed Banker team to identify opportunities for wealth management services, investment strategies, and financial planning.

  • Assist customers in the account opening process, loan application process, closing of loans, and any customer service requests.

  • Develop strong partnerships with other lines of business within the bank to deepen and strengthen customer relationships.

  • Provide teller line assistance, including having a cash drawer and assisting customers when needed.

  • Assist in the overall smooth and efficient operations of the branch, including satisfactory audit scores.

  • Uphold all bank policies, operational procedures, and banking regulations.

  • Ability to build relationships with customers through proactive outreach and follow-up, asking questions, and learning their financial needs.

  • Demonstrates good decision and judgement making skills.

  • Responsible for the overall branch when management is not available.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Experience and competencies:

  • Previous experience as a Relationship Banker is strongly preferred, proven sales and demonstrated leadership experience, is a plus.

  • Licenses : New York state Life, Accident and Health licensed

  • You have proven internal and external sales experience with the ability to naturally match appropriate products and services to new and existing clients and consistently deliver excellent customer service.

  • You get excited about making an impact with teammates and customers.

  • Exercises good judgement and decision-making skills.

  • You are eager to strengthen and build new relationships in the community.

  • Consistently seeks opportunities to enhance the customer experience.

  • Demonstrates a consistent energy in achieving your goals whether through individual or team initiatives.

  • Notary of Public or the ability to attain within 180 days.

  • NMLS or ability to attain within 30 days.

Preferred – FINRA Series 6, 63

This position is anticipated to pay a base rate between $23.00/hourly and $26.74/hourly. This rate does not include potential incentive pay and benefits paid for by the company which may be in addition to the base rate of pay. The base rate of pay is determined by factors such as required experience, skill set needed, business impact of position, value of budget oversight and people management, among other factors. Your Talent Acquisition Specialist will be able to answer specific questions you may have regarding the base pay range for this position.
