Weatherford ROTATIONAL Pumping Unit Service Field Operator in Williston, North Dakota
Overview
Weatherford's Williston, ND facility is in search of Pumping Unit Field Operators to work on a rotational schedule. PUS Field Operators are responsible for operating Pumping Unit/Pump Jack equipment and/or machinery. Duties may involve some technical elements but primarily focused on running equipment/machinery/systems. Role is hands-on and directly manipulates the equipment, machinery or system; requiring precise instrumentation/operation. Acts at field operations as an effective member of a field crew, supporting the delivery under supervision of a Field Engineer or Field Specialist.
Work Schedule/Rotation Considerations
Rotator / Living Allowance Offered
Rotational schedules available:
3 weeks on / 2 weeks off
4 weeks on / 2 weeks off
4 weeks on / 1 week off
Travel within the U.S. covered up to $1,000 with any 4-week rotational schedule
Responsibilities and duties
Identify and explain function of all primary equipment
Identify, explain function and operate all auxiliary equipment
Apply all the disciplines of driving, rigging up, operating and rigging down equipment on location
Maintain equipment and accurate driving records as required by region specific transportation requirements
Maintain satisfactory driving record
Communicate details and directions in a clear and coherent manner
Understand and adhere to all safety regulations and applicable Weatherford Policies
Perform duties according to the documented Quality Policy and comply with all requirements of the Quality Systems Manual, Standard Operating Procedures and Workplace Instructions
Perform various other duties assigned by supervisor within the physical constraints of the job
Experience
Minimal Oil and Gas experience needed
Pumping Unit Service experience, a plus
High School diploma/GED, skilled labor certificate or equivalent
Mechanical Aptitude
Valid Driver's License; CDL preferred, but not required
Comply with region specific driving regulations and Health Requirements. (US Region: DOT)
Work flexible rotational schedule, including long and/or irregular hours
Must have a telephone and the ability to be on 24-hour call
