Citigroup Credit Portfolio Officer in Wilmington, Delaware

Citibank, N.A. seeks a Credit Portfolio Officer for its Wilmington, Delaware location.

Duties: Develop, optimize and lead risk and business strategies for Existing Customer Management (ECM) portfolio and acquisition underwriting for Branded Cards and Lending. Leverage external credit bureau and internal data to lead development of analytical solutions, and perform statistical analyses and other segmentation techniques to identify relationships and trends in data. Perform analytics on large datasets using SAS, SQL and Teradata, and use decision tree models to perform risk and financial analyses. Visualize and execute approaches for managing customer base by studying Profit & Loss (P&L) dynamics, and develop customer level P&L to identify strategies. Develop and execute experimental test designs, sampling techniques, and analytical methods to identify underserved segments within risk appetite framework. Perform statistically driven underwriting and risk analyses using analytical techniques to develop acquisition underwriting strategies. Assess and develop business case proposals for usage of non-traditional data sources in credit decision making process. Evaluate, implement and monitor statistical and analytical machine learning models and tools for acquisition underwriting and ECM processes. Identify trends and conduct data driven root-cause-analysis using SAS and SQL to isolate key performance drivers. Coordinate and interact with stakeholders. Utilize Business Intelligence tools for monitoring and reporting of statistical analysis and prepare performance reports for senior management and business partners. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.

Requirements: Requires a Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Business Analytics, Economics, Statistics, or related field and 4 years of experience as a Credit Portfolio Senior Analyst, Consultant, or related position involving data analytics and financial analysis. Alternatively, employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in the stated fields and 6 years of the specified, progressive post-baccalaureate experience. Full span of experience must include: Financial analysis including Profit & Loss development and optimization, and portfolio analytics; Data analysis and database management; and SQL, UNIX, Teradata. Additionally, 3 years of experience must include: Tableau; Statistical techniques including regression (linear and logistic); Statistical modeling including parametric classifiers (Decision trees, Random Forest) and clustering models (Hierarchical clustering, CHAID); SAS, Python, R; and SAS Enterprise Miner.
