Citigroup Model/Analysis/Validation Senior Manager in Wilmington, Delaware

Citibank, N.A. seeks a Model/Analysis/Validation Senior Manager for its Wilmington, Delaware location.

Duties: Conduct analysis and prepare detailed technical documentation report for validation, sufficient to meet regulatory guidelines and exceed industry standards. Use SAS to generate portfolio loss forecasts based on account level data, model specifications, macro-economic scenarios, and other assumptions of the models. Use Big data platforms, Teradata, SQL, Unix, Tableau, Python, Bit Bucket. Assess and quantify model risk due to model or process limitations to inform stakeholders of their risk profile and develop compensating controls. Support the model life cycle including model development, implementation, model monitoring, model validation, performance evaluation and annual model reviews. Generate production analytics to review and evaluate loss forecasts during production runs. Use big data and data visualization technologies. Automate production tasks. Perform post-implementation model testing in production environment. Document model results and present result to stakeholders. Support and enhance governance structure for models. Address stakeholder questions based on production results and available documentation. Conduct analysis and package into technical documentation report for validation. Represent the bank in interactions with regulatory agencies. Assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to policy, applying sound ethical judgment, escalating, and reporting control issues with transparency. Requirements: Requires a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Information Systems, Analytical Chemistry or related quantitative field and 4 years of experience as a Business Analytics Consultant, SAS Developer, Programmer Analyst, or Risk Analytics Specialist involving statistical and data analysis and credit risk models for the banking industry. Alternatively, employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in the stated fields and 6 years of the specified progressive post-baccalaureate experience. 4 years of experience must include: SAS programming; Big data platforms, Teradata, SQL, Unix, Tableau, Python, Bit Bucket; Implementing analytical models; Assessing model risk; Automation of routine jobs; Generating analytics to review and evaluate model results; Documenting model results and presenting to stakeholders; Working on regulatory controlled models; Project management in a global matrix structure.
