Job Description

As a Nuclear EEDP, you will:

  • Work on impactful, technically challenging projects in the power generation industry

  • Participate in work rotations in a variety of disciplines (i.e., Design, Analysis, Systems, Integration, Controls, etc) over the span of approx. 2 years.

  • Enhance core engineering skills through technical, business, and leadership training.

  • Receive technical training, mentorship, and coaching from world-class technologists and experienced technical managers.

  • Participate in development training with other GE Vernova Leadership and Development program members from other functions and locations.

  • Grow technical expertise in your chosen field and expand skills in new areas.

Qualifications/Requirements :

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in the Engineering majors stated from an ABET accredited university.

  • Overall GPA greater than or equal to 3.0 / 4.0.

Desired Characteristics :

  • Passion/desire to work in the Nuclear industry.

  • Prior intern, co-op, or research experience in design engineering or nuclear engineering.

  • Highly motivated, self-starter, energetic, confident, flexible in changing environments.

  • Strong dedication to a career in technology and a real passion for engineering.

  • Ability to demonstrate an analytical approach to problem solving, learning agility.

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate technical problems in clear and simple terms.

  • Demonstrated and enthusiastic leadership and teambuilding skills.

  • Strong team and interpersonal skills, ability to work in project teams.

  • Proven scholastic achievements and proactive leadership skills.

Other Vacancy Notes:

  • Relocation package is included. Relocation is expected.

  • Graduation dates: Fall 2024 or Spring 2025

  • Degrees: Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Nuclear Engineering, Controls Engineering, Civil Engineering, Materials Engineering, Chemical Engineering or other Energy Engineering related majors will be considered.

Additional Notes: Employees with a permanent address more than 50 miles away from the work location are eligible for a relocation package upon joining GE Vernova as well as rotating between sites while on-program.

For U.S. based candidates only, for purposes of complying with U.S. pay transparency requirements, the base pay range for this position is 81,000.00 USD annual for candidates holding a Bachelor's degree and 86,000.00 USD annual for candidates holding a Master's degree. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.
