Summary:

The Certified Medical Assistant is responsible to provide basic patient care assistance to the physicians and ARNPs, records and documents vital signs, patient weight and height. Performs non-intravenous injections. Assists with treatment plans, treatment plane reviews, outcomes, medication authorization overrides, follow-ups and referrals. Obtains information required for meaningful use. Conducts face to face visits, handles medical service related telephone calls. Monitors and maintains inventory and equipment. Travel required to various program sites. Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education:

• HS Graduate or Equivalent GED

• Technical Program Completion or Degree

Education specialization:

• Required - High School or Equivalent; Preferred - Technical - Medical Assistant

• Required - CMA (Medical Assistant); And - BLS (Basic Life Support); And - Driver's License - State of Florida
