JOB REQUIREMENTS: The Maintenance Shop Technician position assists in maintaining, and repairing vehicles within the Chula Vista and Coldwater Canyon fleet. They assist with various construction projects throughout the year. This is a 1st shift position with weekday and weekend availability. *Must have a valid Wisconsin Driver\'s License (or ability to obtain one). Prefer if candidate has many of their own tools (larger tools, scanners, etc provided by the company) Essential duties and tasks of the position include but are not limited: Examine vehicle and discuss with management nature and extent of damage or malfunction. Plan work procedures. Some medium & heavy equipment operating is preferred. Small engine repair Oil & Lube changes Vehicle Maintenance including replacement parts and equipment to keep fleet operational. Assist in determining when equipment is at end of life and replacement required. Replace and adjust headlights and install and repair accessories such as radios, heaters, mirrors, and windshield wipers. Performpreventive maintenance tasks Reports & documents all repairs & Maintenance Garbage & Trash pickup throughout the grounds Additional duties include: Winter snow maintenance Forklift, skid steer, payloader and aerial lift operation as needed Occasional delivery of supplies to different departments All other duties as assigned by management. ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Preferred: HS Diploma Required: 2-3 years of experience Preferred: 3-5 years of experience Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift 50lbs Body Positions: Sitting, standing for long periods. Body Movements: Walking, turning head and torso, bending arms, wrists and legs. Mental Requirements: Mathematics: Must be able to do routine arithmetic calculations.
