Description Woodbury Health Care Center, a Lifespark Skilled Nursing Community, is looking for a dedicated and passionate Community Life Coordinator/Music therapist to join our growing team. Woodbury Health Care Center is home to seniors requiring TCU (Transitional Care Unit) Care and Long-Term Care. We are in Woodbury, right next door to Woodbury High School. We have been helping seniors Age Magnificently since 1979 and are part of Senior Care Communities, a local non-profit supporting seniors. Schedule: Monday- Thursday 9:45-3:45 Pay range: $19-23/hour. Our Community Life Coordinators becomes family and impacts the lives of our residents who live in a Lifespark Skilled Nursing Community. In this position you will assist Community Life Director in the development, organization, coordination and implementation of comprehensive community life/wellness services and programs that meet the needs and interests of each resident. Duties include: Conduct, attend and participate in orientation, training, in-service education activities and staff meetings as assigned to maintain compliance. Facilitate group programs as assigned in a timely and efficient manner. Actively participate in Community Life department and other required meetings. Participate in Care Conferences. Provide individual programming determined by resident preference and need. Maintain Community Life department and other community supplies and equipment. Work with volunteers as assigned by CL Department Supervisor. Develop monthly wellness and community life wellness calendar to meet the needs and preferences of residents. Preferred Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent. Music or Recreational therapist. Experience in health care preferred.
